MC series: Energy storage type permanent magnet brushless DC speed control electric actuator, which automatically switches on and off the built-in power supply in case of external power supply failure;
Quarter-turn : 50 – 60000Nm;
Linear Travel : 1 – 60KN;
I. MC Series
In industrial process control, if the external power supply is lost, ordinary electric actuators cannot function normally. To overcome this shortcoming, in 2000, Daume was entrusted to develop a dual-power electric control device that automatically switches to its own backup power supply when power is lost.
The specific measure is to use super capacitors in parallel with the external power source and in series with the control circuit. When the priority external power supply is working normally, it also quickly charges the super capacitor for energy storage. In the event of an external power failure, the super capacitor, as a backup power source, automatically switches and releases the stored energy.

II. Applications
- Ships: Valve reset interlock control in emergency situations of steam pipelines;
- Petroleum and Chemicals: Reset interlock control of tank root valves, station valve rooms, refining equipment areas, and fire water valves;
- Pipelines and Pressure Vessels: Monitoring and interlock process control for pressure, temperature, flow, material level, oil/gas extraction wellheads, and long-distance transportation of high-risk and flammable/explosive liquids and gases;
- Remote Areas Without Power Supply: Valve control and emergency reset; this device can be used singly with valves (control device as the main body), or modular assembled into skids for use; especially after modularization, it is used in unmanned process equipment areas. This device stores electrical energy when the external power supply is normal, using the characteristics of super capacitors such as fast charging and high density. When the external power supply fails or the detection instrument limit value exceeds, the super capacitor, as a backup power source, automatically switches and releases the stored energy to power the control device, ensuring that the control device can still operate for 1-2 cycles or quickly reset after a power outage, achieving mature results that are economical, safe, reliable, efficient, energy-saving, and practical in industrial process control.

IV. Purchase Guide
When choosing the actuators, customers should select suitable models based on information such as valve torque, working conditions, and valve size. It is recommended that when choosing an electric actuator model, 60% – 80% of the rated output torque of the actuator should be used as the working torque of the valve. If the application scenario is very important or the environment is complex, customers should provide design drawings and detailed parameters as much as possible for the company’s experts to review and recommend matching products.
